Exploring North Norfolk
North Norfolk is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. Vast rolling fields spread down to the heritage coast with its salt marshes, pine forest walks, national coastal path and miles of soft sandy beaches. The coast is rich in birdlife throughout the year and there are RSPB and local wildlife nature reserves to explore as well as visiting the many historic stately homes and ancient medieval churches. Unfortunately, the train no longer takes the strain in this part of the world but if you want to leave the car, the excellent coastal bus service stops in the village and runs along the coast from Kings Lynn to Cromer.

We really enjoyed our time in Barley cottage despite the gruesome weather. It is such a lovely cottage and so well equipped, you have thought of everything. We certainly will be back!
We couldn't believe we were so close to the shops etc and yet it was so quiet and peaceful and yes there was parking
